We've looked at our Power Play selections for the last two years to see just how will we could have done starting with just $500 and $10 bets.

One of the problems with growth is the number of bets but then again, what is wrong with having a few select bets instead of a larger number of "iffy" bets. If we find we can be successful over two full years perhaps we can then up the tempo with a much larger bet.

So, how did we go?

Commencing with $500 in August 1997 the Bank reached $1107.40 on July 25 1998.

Commencing with a fresh $500 Bank on August 1 1998 the Bank has already reached $935.90 by May 1 1999.

So there we have it. As you can see by the graphs, there were some ups and downs along the way but like the stockmarket it just keeps rolling along.

The difference between Racing and the stockmarket though is the fact that money won from Racing is tax free.
