Here's extra from James Day for the information of Members.

Hi again Garry,

thanks for your reply. I have some important news- Unitab are now fielding fixed price markets on most Australian races.
That even includes country and provincial WA etc! The prices are online~ 11 minutes before each specific race. For metro
racedays prices are available early for all races as far as I can tell. Also markets are there on 131 935 ( Sports ) line.
You can bet eachway, which is  fantastic for longer priced horses- often  the place dividend is better that way.
Minimum bet is $5 and increments are $1.This has only just started happening.E.G. I had Astro Gains e/w and got $5.88 place.
By the way I thought you'd like to know how NZ horses using chapter six go. 50 units profit just the other night.I also use them in the UK with success. The quinella option on Iasbet  has the info needed just before first  NZ race covered and there is plenty of free UK info to get what you need (trainer and rider).

Sunday 31st May: I suspected yesterday would not be a good day given the track conditions. Today there is some hope and Kalgoorlie is due to produce. Prix Du Sang got too far back but still ran a good race, however nothing made ground on our third rated horse Purple.

Would you trust information from someone who doesn't punt themselves? Some of Australia's best known ratings and selection suppliers don't bet which means they have never felt the pain of a losing streak or the elation of a winning one. I can sssure you I know both.

I test out new betting methods with real money and twice in the past year or so I have been on losing streaks of over $30k simply trying out these new methods but equally I have been on winning streaks. Sometimes these winning and losing streaks can take place over a few days, sometimes five or six weeks or even months. Nothing hurts more than when I have had a winning streak and recommended my method to clients only to see an unexpected collapse. These are out of anyone's control but they happen in equal measure.

While all this is going on, the tried and true methods continue to round up winnings. Yale tells me that since Christmas his C Plan betting has only struck at 48% winning races instead of the more usual 50%+ It still wins and wins well. It's just more fun at the higher strike rate. Yesterday with all the heavy and near heavy tracks I didn't even look. Today I might.

Saturday 30th May: Not a lot of bets today. I am watching footy instead I expect the Western Bulldogs to win by much more than the 7.5 start I am giving away. I have backed the two Premium bets plus our Oaks bet. Just hope she doesn't get too far back as she is drawn very wide. The track conditions are very variable today too.

All up, unless we get better track conditions tomorrow it could be a boring weekend.

Friday 29th May: I didn't realise that my son's horse (he has a share in the Mark Waugh syndicate) won yesterday. It was also our second rated horse in the race and paid $8.30 best tote. I was at the Betfair Seminar where about 40 punters turned up. The same seminar I attended in Sydney two years ago only had about 6. As in Sydney, many of the attendees were winform Members.

Unfortunately the presenter was handicapped by no internet available and no one to assist him (very poor planning on Betfair's behalf) and a lack of presentation skills. I did notice that many of the punters were old school i.e. they still thought in terms of 6/4, 7/4 etc. I always thought that I lacked "smoothness" in my presentations but I now think that I understand punters better which is why my presentations were always well received. I also had excellent support from my various assistants.

Will is a young man (compared to me) who is very well presented but when his wireless Internet connection failed he had no answers. He should have had a back up cable access or someone to organise it for him. In Sydney, everyone had their own computer and a real Betfair account with real money so we could follow the examples and bet in real time. It's the best way to do it.

He claimed that Betfair has 60,000 registered accounts in Australia with 15,000 betting each month. That figure surprises me. he also hinted that you are better off using a "bot" to navigate the site and place bets and I agree with that, The Betfair site seems to me to be going slower and slower. Some of the punters in the room told me that they only used the Phone Service and refused to use their website.

One good thing about the seminar. You got lunch and a free hat and a very good book which fills in all the gaps about betting on Betfair.

The C Plan yesterday was virtually non existent. You get days like that.

Thursday 28th May: Today there is a FREE Betfair Seminar at Newcastle Panthers commencing at 1pm. Anyone is welcome to turn up. There will be another one held tonight but you must phone to book your place for this session.
Call: 1800 759 354.

Our Daily Feature Race was a success yesterday with our top rated horse 'Grand Oscar' first to the finish with a win price of $8.30.

The Winter Edition of Horse Racing Australia Magazine is on it's way to subscribers. We value any feedback you have to offer regarding our Magazine so we can produce the best publication for our loyal readers. Click here to email us direct or send your letters to PO BOX 375 Wallsend NSW 2287.

We are busy packing envelopes with your latest Winform Newsletter. These will be mailed out from tomorrow with our $250,000 Sportsbet giveaway. With over 4000 members the production of writing, printing, labelling and packing envelopes takes countless hours to get the Newsletter to your mailbox, so please take the time to read your latest Winform news.

Wednesday 27th May: The Top Two found some winners as it always does but yesterdays programs were not great. We couldn't find a single race to nominate as our Feature. Today is different. With postponed meetings Rod Cleary from Vicbet tells me we have eight meetings to bet on. Almost as busy as Saturday or Sunday. Depending on weather it could be a fun day.

Tim dropped into our office yesterday on his way home to Queensland. Anyone is welcome to drop in, even just to say hello or ask any queries. We'll even shout you a cuppa. Anyhow, I was able to clarify a few things for Tim and he is ready to kick off with the C Plan when he gets home.

Susannah has been off sick for a few days and we are way behind but the Newsletters will be arriving next week along with our $250,000 Sportsbet giveaway. We're only a relatively small business and we rely on our sponsors to be able to make such great promotions.

We also had contact with a number of the corporates yesterday and we may be dropping some of them as the products offered change. SportsAlive are offering best of three totes all gallops including country and provincial but limited depending on the Stab price. Centreracing.com was offering best of three but has dropped this, however they are the only ones offering concession betting and First Four as some othet agencies have dropped this.

We'll do our best to keep up to date and keep you informed as to your best options.

Tuesday 26th May: Four Premium qualified yesterday and three won which made a sequence of seven winners in a row. Pity that Larry Cassidy rode the last of our chances like a champion, which he clearly wasn't. Funny how you can have a little bit of a slow patch and in the space of a few days turn it all around.

Warwick called me yesterday just to tell me how excited he has been since he purchased the Money Factory program. He collects in 60%+ races and has done for years. His approach is similar to Market Forces and his profits used to be haphazard. Now though he plays for the week, closes off on a Friday and makes sustained profits with the program. He told me that only once in the past six months has he failed to be in front by Friday and that week continued the plan until it made a profit over the weekend.

Warwick saves on the favourite if it is in the group of horses that he has to bet. What I suggested was that when the "saver" bet wins he should regard that race as a non event and simply delete the race from his program and move onto the next race as the bet will simply be the same as in the previous event BUT you will not have moved closer to the next divisor.

Warwick told me that the Money Factory was the vital key that finally tipped the balance in his favout and improved his profit overnight. His story is not unique.

Monday 25th May: Three Premium bets yesterday fro three winners. One of our Members won $5000+ with a Trixie at $50 base bet. I won over $20k myself. I admit to being very impatient and when there were less than three bets I chose one to make up a trixie and mostly lost. I dropped over $2k Saturday on unsuccesful combinations when four of the five Winform Gold Selections lost. I probably lost $10k or more inbetween since my last really big payout. Patience, patience, patience. It really pays off.

The C Plan started with a run of three successes to end up with five from nine. Had I been betting race to race yesterday instead of watching footy I would have wrapped it up after those early successes.

Sunday 24th May: Okay, I'm early but this is a rap up of Saturday. Our Weekend Sportsbet started with a win. Beauty, it's about time. Grandslam five winners from ten bets for a $1870 profit for $100 bets. Only The Best one $4.80 winner from three bets. Best Bets one from one but it's not all good news with Winform Gold having a horror day at one from five.

Best Australian Horse Racing Systems found three good winners. Our Top Rated horses are back firing and recovered for a minor loss for the week. It's all good. With all the heavy tracks there were few C Plan races today but still we got five from six. Can't complain.

Saturday 23rd May: Our Top Rated horses came good yesterday with some nice wins. Top Two was good as well. Nice to see some double figure winners again. Powerbet users did well yesterday and Powerplay found some good winners too. I didn't have a chance to check the C Plan.

Amazing to see good tracks in Melbourne this time of the year, very odd, but let's make the most of it while we can. The Doomben 10,000 is today's Feature Race and well worth watching in spite of the wet. The Magazine arrived yesterday and we alwasy sweat on the printers doing a good job and it has turned out well. It takes an enormous amount of work to put it together.

I forgot to tell you what to do when you next go to Melbourne by air. A taxi costs quite a bit to get to the city but you can get a chaufferred car for about the same price. Tony Nabbout always looks after us when we go there 0411 778 578 is his number. It costs $60 but you get excellent service. Just give a day or two's notice.

Friday 22nd May: Sarah emailed yesterday to tell us of her success using the C Plan with the Unitab ratings. It is not as good as the C Plan with Winform Ratings but the strike rate is similar, normally the prices are not so hot but yesteday Sarah found a $19.15 winner with IASbet.com Super Price which is now often better than all three Tabs.

Yesterday the C Plan started with five straight losing races followed by two winning ones. Overall it's been an average winning week from the feedback I am getting.

Gold Coast and Grafton races have been abandoned today leaving just three Race meetings for us to look at and I would be surprised if we found any good bets today. At least we have footy tonight. Two of our meetings today are O.K. for Powerbet so maybe something will come of it.

Yesterday our Top Rated drought started to break with a $10 and $8.90 winner.

Thursday 21st May: My eyes are clearing up and have just checked back and it looks like the C Plan had four from seven yesterday. The top rated are still going backwards but it must change soon. I hope to be back at the office Friday. The Winter Edition of Horse Racing Australia Magazine will be posted out Monday if all goes well. We have recently put a roof over our loading area and will need it to get the mags in high and dry. It is reallly blowing and raining but can't get flooded here.

Premium scored two from four yesterday.

Update: Andrew called and correctly pointed out that I had made an error with the C Plan results. As I said, I was looking at the results backwards and that means I would get different results, for example, when a SP favourite at the finsh was not the favourite during the betting when you as a "live" punter would place your bets. But, as Andrew pointed out, the C Plan is such that you can start it or finish it anytime you like because it always has a 50%+ strike rate so if he comes home at say 4 p.m. he can still sit down and have a bet expecting success if any of the remaining races are eligible.

Wednesday 20th May: The C Plan is back in the good books after four winners from six races yesterday. I can barely see as I write this but my eyes do feel slightly better than yesterday. I used Dynamic Race odds to work out the C Plan races for yesterday as I can look back and get top fluctuation as well as all the dividends even days after the races. In the Winter Edition of Horse Racing Australia Magazine which is posted to Subscribers next week and in Newsagents the week after, there is a promotion for a free trial of both Dynamic Raceodds and Winform Ratings.

Tuesday 19th May: Sometimes you wonder "what have I done to deserve this?" Four C Plan races yesterday for no result. Only one top rated winner from 24 races at three of our best venues for the ratings. This morning I wake up but can't open my eyes. They are glued shut. I can get to my doctor after lunch and a course of antibiotics for my eyes should have me over it in a day or two hopefully.

Yes, worse things can happen. I'll have a good rest today and think about the Spring magazine. Anyone have any ideas they would like to see included? At least one good thing. Common sense has prevailed and jumps racing will continue but they'll run slower and tired horses will be pulled up.

Monday 18th May: I don't care what Craig Boots says. The best strategy with the footy bets is to do exactly the opposite of what he recommends. He got most of the winners right but the margins?

I have to admit I lost two Money Factory banks at the weekend with a top rated strike rate of only 13% and poor divideneds as well. Lucky I had already won more than that in previous weeks. Today we have three very good (on average) race meetings. It's not that long ago since we scored a $38 winner at Dubbo and a $100 winner at Cessnock. I thikn I need a nother of those today.

Only The Best scored one winner and a place from three bets Saturday. Now we just need a good price.

Sunday 17th May: The Top Rated horses racked up 67 points in total yesterday, second rated 93. You can see where the best results came. I was betting top rated. The weekend footy bets failed last night. Simply put, the opposition beat the line. Plenty of action to come.

Needless to say, the winners did not come at the right time for my Money Factory where I was forced to write off a bank and I am deep into the next one. Today will tell a tale.

On a brighter note there were plenty of C Plan winners. I actually stopped counting and quit ahead on those.

Saturday 16th May: 'm looking forward to today. I added a few dollars to the Staff Punters Club and only need one or two winners with odds totalling 3.6 to clear the current Money Factory series today. I didn't notice any C Plan races yesterday but then I wasn't looking either. Most of the races appeared to be open betting races.

Two qualifying Premium Selections yesterday for onw winner but what a price! $6 best fluctuation! One of our professionals missed that but was delighted he took the $4.70 before it firmed to less than $3. It doesn't take a lot these days to trim in the prices, especially when the oncourse broadcaster tells you "this is the best backed runner, they've put plenty on and the Tab price is nearly double what they're offering on course".

I bet at IASbet.com yesterday and was amazed at how many times I scored $21 about a $10 chance, $9 about a $5 chnace and so on. On the day none of these won but when they do it is worth it. Always seek the best price.

Friday 15th May: Five out of five C Plan winning races for me yesterday, which made up for the ones I missed the last couple of days. I didn't even bet all C Plan races yesterday, just the ones I noticed while I was doing other things. I have to confess to a slight "cheat" though. For the Winform staff Punters Club I missed about a dozen bets yesterday in between picking my car up from service and getting home to place the last few bets. I entered these bets I missed into the Money Factory program. At the end of the day yesterday I should have still been about $50 behind but in fact we were a couple of hundred up so I closed off and will start again today.

Our Daily Feature race missed yesterday. I'm looking forward to a good Footy Weekend backed up by the Doomben Carnival where I have a good thing selected for the Weekend Feature Race.

Thursday 14th May: When I viewed the Daily Feature Race yesterday I thought "you're kidding." You see Susannah had us backing a lot of horses and a Quinella. How would we make a profit? Well congratulations! A $9 winner and the runner up was $8.60 the place for a $175+ Quinella at Iasbet. Speaking of IASbet.com Yesterday they sold the UK version of Canbet which lost 8 million last year. Alll of a sudden, Iasbet will reach it's potential with as much as $12 million a year profit from 2009/2010 which is about 18 cents per share if it makes no further inroads into the Australian market but it will. Shareholders will be ecstatic. I know I am.

For the Footy this week we are betting all "value" bets regardless of our opinion of the teams. This might just restore our fortunes.

Yesterday our staff Punters Club kicked off with $143 profit plus the Daily Feature race Quinella and our current run is midway through Money Factory. A couple of good winners today will take us to the next level.

Wednesday 13th May: I came back to over 200 emails that required my attention. I wasn't in the office yesterday but by this morning at 11.15 I had answered them all. I had one bet yesterday, a losing $200 C Plan race. I see though that I would have had a good winning week with Money Factory on top rated horses and yes Warrnambool is one of the tracks we don't bet. Mark was here this morning and after having a good winning week, blew a bank. As I explained, have a look at the Top Two strike rates and only bet where these are 32%+ and good average dividends.

I do bet at Caulfield and Flemington which have low strike rates but you can see the dividends are high when you do get them.

Tuesday 12th May: A big change is coming to the punting scene with Over The Odds, Sports Alive and Betezy all offering best of three totes on all gallops races including provincial and country.

Controversy though with a new all purpose terminal being released in Melbourne over the weekend which allows patrons to bet direct with Sportsbet. It even allows patrons to open an account through ther terminal which also sells other gambling products.

Many of our Members have recently opened accounts with Vicbet.com. Vicbet is restricted on opening times due to current legislation but they are definitely open today and tomorrow. Please check their website for betting options today.

It appears we may have about 19 places left for our Only The Best Promotion. These are sure to go fast. So secure your subscription before you miss out.

Monday 11th May: Apologies for the delayed posting, as we have been extremely busy with new subscriptions and the last minute touches to the Magazine. Well...overall we had a reasonably successful weekend. Saturday produced some awesome Powerplay Single winners: $8.70, $10.10, $18.30 and $6.80 with many more place getters. Grandslam scored two from two with 'Dawinner' winning at $6.00 and 'Lead Rope' winning at $3.10. The Daily Feature on Saturday came close with the winner our Top Rated horse at $5.70, but unfortunately we didn't pick up the Trifecta or Quinella.

Sunday also was another successful day for the Powerplay Singles with $9.90 winner at Kalgoorlie and six other place getters. The Winform Daily Feature scored a win yesterday also with the Winform Top Rated horse 'Glasgow Jim' winning at $6.00 and paying $5.10 for the place.

We were inundated late Friday afternoon with last minute Suscribers to our new Only The Best Service. To all Subscribers who have sent in their Vicbet.com details, your bonus will be registered some time this afternoon. We will be finalising the Winter Edition of Horse Racing Australia Magazine this week, so if your subscription has expired or you have yet to subscribe to the Magazine, click here to get yours online or Phone: (02) 4950 1747.

Thursday 7th May: My decision to stop betting this week due to afternoon appointments and the fact I am heading off to Melbourne tomorrow for a few days has been costly as the results show that I would have increased the Winform Punters Club's profits considerably. True, there have been no long shots but a steady stream of winners at average prices would have kicked in another $200-$300 per day.

I haven't tracked the C Plan but it looks like the first five eligible races yesterday were all winners at $2, $2.50 and $8 then two more at $2 and $3.50.

Our Only The Best promotion has passed the fifty percent mark as we continue to commit 101% cash back. The initial offering will close tomorrow at 5 p.m. and will be close to fully subscribed.

Powerplay Singles for April lost 1.8% but we have little doubt that the staking strategies will make that a profit. Powerplay has had some excellent results but it is frustrating when you get three of the four legs in the Quaddie, often including a longshot but then miss the fourth leg. But when it comes it is usually big.

Prue and Susannah will keep the diary up to date over the next few days. When I return I wlll report on the Hawks /Bombers game and hopefully will get a first hand view of where these two sides are heading this year.

Wednesday 6th May: We received a new Magazine today, a general Racing Magazine. There is a team of about a dozen or more involved in the production and writing of it and the presentation is very professional. The problem is that anyone over 50 will need glasses to be able to read it. Their advertisements are in much larger type. Of course the pictures are exceptional so maybe you don't need to read it. Our Magazine is printed in larger type for a reason. Enough said.

Tuesday 5th May: There has been some confusion regarding the Ballina and Lismore meetings. Ballina has been transferred to Lismore. The NSWTAB says the meeting is at Ballina but Tabonline says Lismore. The TABs have caused the error not us. Why are NSWTAB and VICTAB getting it wrong?

Success yesterday with our Daily Feature Race producing a $4+ winner. CLICK HERE to view our Daily Feature Highlights. Our carefully selected 'If you have to have a bet' also came out on top.

For April, favourites had a strike rate of 31%. Favourites that were in the Winform Top Two had a strike rate of 34%. Securing the best price produced a profit for the month. A study was released yesterday by the Prince Of Wales Medical Research Unit in Sydney that confirmed that mentally engaging tasks prevent the loss of connections of the white matter in the brain and create new ones. We can think of no more demanding mental task than winning at the races. The Herald also revealed today that Alzheimers cases are expected to increase from 234,000 to 465,000 over the next fifteen years.

It appears then that following the races can keep the brain engaged and defer the onset of Alzheimers, we all hope!

Monday 4th May: I'm getting in early as I will be at my solicitor's Monday morning. The Weekend Footy Bets all lost. It's the first time we can remember. No big deal. More next week.

On Sunday the C Plan won again..what's new? I worked out where the Winform Staff Punting Plan was had I the time to bet Saturday and we could have been deep in it but Sunday there were some averge winners, enough to clear the series and a $450 profit to add to the $4,000 we made in the last ten days.

All three Premium Bets won Sunday and I had a little all up and made $1,000 on them. Even though the first two failed to qualify under 'The Key to Winning Consistently Two' one of them was our Daily Feature Race special so I went for it. As it turned out, the first horse qualified under a new rule that might be released later this year.

We do have vacancies for the new Only The Best bonus and we will email our Members today. We have reserved some places for our Members who don't have email access and they will be made the offer in the next Newsletter.

Sunday 3rd May: Lets start with the positives. The Knights won last night in spite of a storm which took out the lights and a match that went three hours instead of two. Sorry John, your Broncos got stomped on.

The C Plan had a brilliant day. It was not so much the seven out of fourteen (four from first six) but the prices of the winners. $14.80, $3.10, $13.80, $3.20, $16.00, $3.50 and $2.70. As Roger Biggs pointed out when he tested it out a couple of years ago through his million plus data base, "betting just the longer priced of the two horses in the C Plan must produce a great level stakes profit."

There was only one qualifying Premium Bet yesterday and it was a winner. Takeover Target won as a Grandslam as did Geared Up at $6.80, Our Feature Race Selection ran second at great odds and our Daily Feature Race failed to find the Trifecta but did have the winnner and I think Quinella, however I took only the Trifecta.

Fridays email gave you the Quinella in the South Australian Derby in one go which paid over $20, hope you were on it. I spent my day painting the jetty but finished just before the downpour. There were some good Top Two winners yesterday but our Top Rated horses underperformed.

Saturday 2nd May: The Only the Best bonus offer will probably expire next week. Don't call now though, leave it to Monday please. It looks like about six selections today and we are hoping for at least two winners. Yesterday our Winform Punters Club reached a new high. had a $2200+ result from an all up where only two legs were successful and bet in just one C Plan race and made $220 on it. I didn't have time to look for any more.

I head to Melbourne late next week for some R and R and so won't be doing much betting for myself or the punters club. I will do an update to see what "might" have happened though. Today I have an assignment "around the house" so apart from a break to watch Takeover Target attempt to make history I will be away from my computer.

I will be having another all up, probably a patent. There were just two Premium qualifiers yesterday for one very good win at around $3 best price.

Friday 1st May: The first two C Plan races won yesterday and it is lucky I stopped there. I didn't get to see how it ended up but there were three losses although I noticed it picked up later. Our Winform Staff Punters Club is now $4,000 ahead since last week even though we scored just four wins from over 30 bets yesterday. It's the power of Money Factory.

Tomorrow is the start of our new service Only The Best. The criteria are strong and produce 4-5 bets of a Saturday at 30% strike rate and still average dividends above $4. We also have a special incentive. The service costs $495 for 12 months but the first fifty subscribers get a Vicbet.com betting account containing $500 to be bet with however you want. Anyone wanting to sign up must only call this special number (02) 49501 500 and only business between hours 9-5 Monday to Friday although the offer may not last long.

Thursday 30th April: I was disappointed with yesterday. It is a full week now that the Winform Staff Punters Club has been using Money Factory Professional Edition to bet the top rated Winform horses. Our bank stands at $2979 profit on our $2240 Money Factory Bank. I had hoped for $3,000+

I feel that there are probabaly subscribers who have used this approach in the past and I would appreciate any feedback. I know a few that tried it with betting every Top Rated runner each way although,I believed while it was working, it was a lot slower.

Powerplay scored in 63% of all races yesterday however no trebles or quaddies were struck.

Wednesday 29th April: Can't say much about yesterday as I wasn't here. I picked up a new microwave, renewed my presciptions and read a book. You have to have a bit of a break from it and as it turned out we had no Selections yesterday anyway. Today we do. There are six meetings so a busy afternoon.

Tuesday 28th April: Afternoon Update: We have started the random re-draw of prizes for the Best Australian Horse Racing Systems publication. New random prizes will be submitted with the next Winform Newsletter.

A very satisfying day yesterday. I have been using Money Factory with the Winform Staff punters club and yesterday we scored a $2400 win to take our profits since Thursday to $2686. We are using a $2240 Money Factory Bank and $10 base bets on the top rated Winform horses.

John F. from Melbourne had an even bigger win as he uses Powerbet with a much larger base bet. John has stopped work to build his new house and punts to cover living expenses while he is doing so.

Our Premium bets had a win and all three placed but of course that was not a win for me. Patience will see me through.

I am having an actual day off today although it includes a visit to my doctor this arvo to organise prescriptions and a hearing test. That's right, if you've called me up and I didn't quite get your name, I may have some slight hearing loss. But perhaps all I need is a new phone system. I'll check that out next week.

Monday 27th April: We ended up with three from five from the sports bets, the Western Bulldogs letting us down for the second week in a row. Dan emailed to thank us for that $65 winner at Port Augusta on Friday. Dan is using Powerbet. He was not the only one betting that horse Our Pater Nosta which paid over $80 best tote.

Regretably the one Premium bet yesterday failed to meet the Key to Winning Consistenty Two guidelines but it still won.

Sunday 26th April. I simply didn't have time yesterday to check for the C Plan although I noted several winners. Grandslam had a great day and our Feature race came through. If you read your e-news on Friday I predicted a longshot would probably take out the Champagne, which it did and Divine Rebel would prove hard to beat in the Cup. Fancy getting knocked off by an 8yo! In our Daily Feature race we got 2nd and 3rd at $4 the place for each. No good.

In the afternoon there was bugga all service for Bathurst and Kalgoorlie bettors. It was as hopeless as our tipping there. We did get another sports bet up so two out of three so far.

Saturday 25th April: I served in the 60's in the old CMF and my brother and brother in law both were conscripted although neither saw action. Many I know did. My Dad was in New Guinea in WWII. There is a lot to remember and be thankful for. Few of today's generation know the sort of discipline it takes to participate. Many will be queing up waiting for the shops to open at one o'clock. We are entitled to our day of remembrance and the Racing and Sport are part of our celebration of our Aussie life style and traditions and no apologies are necessary.

Yesterday I caught three losing C Plan races after waiting for most of the day. The one race that would have got me out, the favourite changed in the last few minutes but the opening favourite won anyway. Swings and roundabouts. It has been a good week for the C! No Premiums yesterday.

I am running our Punters Club (Winform staff) through Money Factory and have collected handsomely on both days. Today will be harder with lost of work to keep up with all the extra race meetings but it will be worth it.

However you celebrate Anzac Day, have a great day.

Friday 24th April: One Premium bet yesterday but it did not qualify under David Bendeich's Rules. It ran 3rd and I saved my money. There were three good C Plan wins yesterday out of five qualifying races. The dividends were good too. I have to thank Bob and Frank for their feedback this week as it got me focussed again on what is a great winning plan.

Yesterday I used Money Factory in between phone calls and made 8.70% profit on turnover. I complted this week a Money Factory trial on all our top rated horses which made over $9,000 profit using base bets of $10. Our bank size of $2240, I backed up three times, just in case but of course anyone wanting to have a go could start with a $1 base bet and a bank of $224. That would have made $900+ Food for thought.

I have been punting and winning for over 40 years (reveals my age) and have never seen better staking plans than Powerbet and Money Factory. The major difference is that Powerbet relies on longshots while Money Factory thrives on consistent but shorter priced selections.

How would you like to buy into a new Selection Plan, saturdays only, 4-5 bets generally with a 30% strike rate at $4 average? What if I told you it cost just $495 for the first year but you got $500 cash back in an Internet betting account where you choose between best fluc, or best tote or traditional each way best on these selections? Your only commitment is to bet through your $500 once and have at least ten bets.

Thursday 23rd April: One Premium bet yesterday for one winner and the very first C Plan race was a winner. I was impatient, and instead of waiting for a day where there were three Premiums for my all up, I tried for two other bets and neither won. A losing day for me.

Being understaffed with Susannah on holidays, we have only just sent out renewal notices for our services. This may means some Subscribers will be expired before their notice arrives. If you are unsure about your expiry date please feel free to call the office today or tomorrow so you don't miss out. Good punting today.

Wednesday 22nd April: One Premium bet yesterday for one win. I had $200 on that for a quick profit. We are working hard finalising the Magazine and we have something new coming up that we think you are going to love.

Tuesday 21st April: The C Plan scored two from two then three from four and that is where I stopped. No need to go any further. The results yesterday were sensational for the Top Two and Top Three with a $38 winner from the former Bravo Plan being just one of the good winners. Powerbet users would be beside themselves. Powerplay covered just the one venue yesterday and scored seven of the eight winners.

This morning I reviewed all my accounts and I can understand why many older people are upset. Our Business account is currently earning just 3%, our Super Fund 0.1% but I have to hold funds ready for tax etc. or I could take a 3% Fixed deposit. One cash management fund has the audacity to offer a daily interest rate for $500,000 plus of just 2.5%.

Tabcorp are currently offering bonds which pay the bond rate plus, I think, 4.25% so about 7% all up. The fact that Tabcorp considers this a good way of financing the upgrade of Star Casino indicates that businesses are paying way in excess of this.

For most institutions there is no interest at all on the first $10,000 but with this amount of money there is some certainty of making profits from Racing. I have made the equivalent of 25% on my footy Money Factory plan yet have never been behind more than $500. If you have the plan the formula is simple. 50% winners at $1.91 or if you are conservative 45% at $2.00 which requires about half the bank but takes more time to hit a profit.

Monday 20th April: (Update) So far today (1.28 p.m.) we have four winners from the Winform Top Three out of five races including Cardington at $22, and Cameo Queen at $38 plus our only Premium bet fully qualified by 'Key to Winning Consistently Edition Two' has won.

Sunday we scored one win from the two Premium Bets so a small profit. The C Plan had a great day Saturday but yesterday after watching for nearly three hours there were no qualifiers at all so I gave up. I added one selection to the two Premiums and took a Patent Bet and won $370 on that as the extra bet did the right thing and got up right on the line.

I watched the West Coast/ Bulldogs game until there was no chance of the bullies getting up. Who’d be a footy tipster the way it’s going in both codes right now? Luckily the Money Factory is showing me a profit for the season but I have a run of three losers in my current series.

Sunday 19th April: One win one loss forr the AFL last might. That's two from three which is more like it. I didn't get to use my plan yesterday but I did get on Daffodil in the Oaks. I also had the chance to bet two C Plan races and both won to save my day. I reckon it was five from eight yesterday up till 5 o'clock when I left. Hope you read our enews Friday when I did highlight both Vision and Power and Daffodil. Mind you, anything could have won the Doncaster, it was very close. Even Rags To Riches which I backed each way at 100/1 was only beaten less than four lengths.

Three Premium Selections yesterday for a second and a third. Five Horse Racing Australia Selections yesterday for a win and four placed.

Saturday 18th April: Doncaster Day 2009. Overnight our first Footy Bet came off, and easily. I got $1.96 on the line bet and cleared my Money Factory series. I start again today.

Racing at randwick will be on another rain affected track as is Queensland. Punters bet less on these but it will be a big betting day nevertheless. As an experiment I will aim to make $10 per race, adding my losses to the profit goal as I go. I have to quit win lose or draw by 4.30 as I have a function to go to. If necessary I can resume tomorrow. You know if you could just make $10 per race that would be $2500-$3000 per week. Nice thought isn't it?

Friday 17th April: I don't know what's happening in Queensland. All of a sudden we are seeing races at Dalby where we used to do well. I hope it comes back. Perhaps they'll bring back Kilcoy and Beaudesert and Esk. We used to kill them there. I made a killing yesterday with simple bets in three maiden races at Ballarat. For $20 multiples I made $2069. I had too much to do so decided on a simple 'play' and I wasn't that serious about it just logical. I went win/win/win, place/place win and place/win/win. With our top rated in the first winning at $7.70 I was made. In the second it was obvious that the first starter would be favoutite and our top rated horses had poor ratings. In the third race our top rated horse looked the goods and won by four lengths untouched but at $1.50 you are entitled to expect that.

Tomorrow night I have committed to a family event at 5.30 so no matter where I am I won't be able to bet reliably. No doubt I will settle on another all up type strategy. The event is a dress up and we are supposed to be wearing yellow raincoats. You can guess the theme, especially if I start singing.

The Winform favourite strategy as seen in 'Race Winning Strategies' is maintaining a 42% strike rate for the year to date. If you've been following this one I would love to hear from you.

Thursday 16th April: Including David Toulson's Soccer (Footy) bets we had three from four last weekend. The NRL and AFL selections are up now. Craig is a little worried though as normally when he gets it right the line moves in but so far the line in two games has moved out. Time will tell.

There was just one Premium selection yesterday and it won easily at $2.10. That's a great result in a four horse field. One of the Powerplay Singles placed yesterday returning $8 the place. I sometimes wonder with these whether we would be wise treating the place option as a separate bet altogether.

Best Australian Horse Racing Systems, the reprint has arrived and will be despatched today. There are a few Members who won a copy in our prize draw but have not yet notified us. Any prizes not claimed by next week will be redrawn in the next Newsletter in May. If you have purchased Best Australian Horse Racing Systems at $149 your copy will be away today too.

Wednesday 15th April: An Excellent result for Powerplay Singles yesterday as it always is when we land double figure winners. I took a couple of each way all ups for a win and a loss in what was a slow day with just one day and one night meeting. Today we have already lost Ipswich but with four meetings less Warwick Farm where it is heavy, there is still enough action to make it interesting.

Tuesday 14th April: Rain rain and more rain. A typical Easter. Our Best Bet missed, the Daily Feature Race missed but Powerplay Singles had a couple of winners and our betting plans have provided some good winners.

Looking back at the weekend Grandslam had a good day with a $10 winner on Saturday, The Daily Features won two out of the three days. About one third of the Members had the weekend off but those who did bet saturday bet more than usual. The Derby was a disappointment unless you read our article on Bart Cummings where he told us to back Roman Emperor in the race he was set for. I forgot all about it, that was back in January when we did the interview.

Best Australian Horse Racing Systems had a brilliant day with a $15 winner to start. Our prize winners would be ecstatic and those who bought the book (over 1,000 of you) for the full price of $149 have got much more than that back for just a $10 bet. And it is interesting. Each of the systems was given out free at some stage in Horse Racing Australia Magazine which means that some 20,000 Plus people could bet the selections and it has had no effect on dividends. Or could it be that of those 20,000 people only a few have followed them? If you have purchased Best Australian Horse Racing Systems recently you will be pleased to know the reprint is due in this week and will be posted by next weekend.

Our Winfrom Racing Club Members who were lucky enough to have their name drawn out for a free copy have until the end of next week to claim their copies. Because of change of address and the like there will be a redraw in May for those that are unclaimed. Any Members reading this who have changed address should advise us by email direct@hunterlink.net.au.

Monday 13th April: A busy family day yesterday and I had to get my bets on. Our Daily Feature Race was another success. We recommended four horses boxed in the Albany Cup. One was scratched which left just three and they ran 1,2,3. Only one of our Premium Bets won, so a loss there and Saturday our Best Bet lost. For those who bet yesterday, the Top Two was excellent with some longshot winners.

Saturday the C Plan had another winning day with seven from thirteen which is 54%. Exactly the strike rate as expected in Race Winning Strategies.

Our Weekend Sports bets stuck at 50% but the "form" is becoming clearer. At Randwick today three races on the course proper and five on the Inner track. makes it tough for form analysts.

Powerplay continues to find 55% winning races. The whole thing comes down to the prices we get.

Saturday 11th April: Yours truly is doing everything today so bear with me. I feel well for the first time in a week. I expect a Caulfield upgrade but rain is approaching Randwick from the west so will stick with Dead. Good luck today. My Derby special prefers the damp. It is on 1902 210 680 or Weekend Feature Race for subscribers.

Took forever to finish today. Track conditions, late scratchings and the like. It took until 11.47 to get it right and still, have I missed out at caulfield? I expected and upgrade and it hasnt happened yet but Powerplay singles already has three winners. There was one Grandslam that dropped out because the field size reduced at Ascot and one that was added at Oakbank because of a late scratching.

Friday 10th April: A quiet day today. No races. Still a bit ill. Prue is ill too now, hope I didn't give it to her. Susannah is on holidays for two weeks. We'll do our best to keep everything running smoothly. Fingers crossed.

Thursday 9th April: I hear that they are taking bibles and crucifixes out of Hospital chapels in Sydney so they won’t offend anyone. It offends me but maybe being a Christian in a Christian country I don’t count. It reminds me of when they stopped feeding Christians to the lions. The next thing that happened, Rome fell! Will we never learn that you have to respect local customs? Oh dear.

On another note we had a $40+ winner for the Winform Singles and Powerplay yesterday. It’s about time, unfortunately, I have had a recurrence of that bug I picked up last weekend and went home early and didn’t bet. Luckily our staff punters club did and participated in the three wins from six bets bonanza.

On a brighter note, Randwick will be a Good 3 on Saturday unless we get another downpour which is looking less and less likely.

Wednesday 8th April: We’ve had a few enquiries about orders being sent out, in particular The Best Australian Horse Racing Systems and some of my books. Reality is that we have been short staffed for some time and we have had to order some reprints too. Susannah is on holidays from Thursday 5pm but we have everything ready to go as soon as the books arrive in the office next Thursday. It takes from 2 to 7 days for delivery across Australia so we would appreciate if you have orders outstanding to please allow an extra few days before you call. Our normal policy is that orders received today are despatched today but at present this is just not possible. Our next Newsletter will be the April/May Newsletter to go out late May but our regular emails will continue as normal.

Betezy have made major changes to their website and they still offer $100,000 each day to anyone who can pick the winners at the nominated meeting. You simply have to have an account with Betezy to participate. I haven’t been able to pick it yet, but as entry is free I still give it a go. My best is five out of eight so far. Betezy are also offering our Members 25% bonus on their opening deposit up $2500 in free bets. It’s the best deal in town, no doubt, and they do pay best of three totes on Metro.

Yesterday was a good winning day for Powerplay Singles and Cessnock found a few winners as it always does. Six winners for Powerplay from the eight races. It rarely fails.

Tuesday 7th April: Pleased to report it is all good. Microsoft’s real live persons repeated the mantra from their recorded service denying me activation of my paid for product but when I  explained as forcefully as possible (no swearing) the obstacles they had put in front of me, they came good with a new code. Now 24 hours later I finally get a reply to my email from days ago. If we ran our business like that we would simply not be in business. Mind you, I was offended when they said “but are you sure you haven’t installed this software on another computer?”

Today’s Cessnock meeting is last week’s postponed meeting and the track is heavy and it is raining. All the tracks are rain affected today except perhaps Geraldton. Terang is officially Good but it is raining there too apparently.

The Weekend Sports scored just three from six but that is a lot better than most people did on an upset weekend. David Toulson’s EPL bet won as well to keep our nose in front. A win with our first bet this weekend will clear the Money Factory series. In the Robinson family home we have all but recovered from our weekend trauma and the weight loss won’t hurt.

Monday 6th April: Don't know what we ate but Ros and I set a new record for simultaneous projectile vomiting last night and our daughter who ate with us did the same at her home. Add the other symptons and the past 24 hours has not been pleasant and we are all three really ill people this morning, so no I won't be at the office.

On a brighter note, there were were three winners fron the five qualifying Premiums yesterday. The last of these only qualified if the track at Cranbourne was downgraded and it was. The daily feature race , the Wellington Boot, was an open affair. Boxing the five horses scored the $21 winner, the $57 Quinella, The $761 Trifecta and the $4000 (approx.) First Four although we did expect the race to be between our top two which ran 2nd and 3rd. I took the Quinella and Trifecta for our office syndicate.

We've had some excellent feedback from those Members who were lucky enough to win The Best Australian Horse Racing Systems and are impressed with their book and the staking workouts . Anyone can still purchase the books for $149 and we are maintaining our low cost selection service for purchasers.

Sunday 5th April: Life with Microsoft hasn't improved. Now I've bought another full price version of Office and it doesn't work either but they don't provide any phone numbers which work until tomorrow. So I can see emails but I can't respond to them and so on.

They had races yesterday and if you sensibly left the heavy tracks alone you mgiht have backed the $21 winner at Caulfield. Sadly it wasn't one of our specials. Grandslam had three from twelve, the singles three from nine. Winform Gold nil from two. The Weekend Footy Bets one from three so far.

I correctly predicted that an outsider would win the Slipper. But I, like you just had to have a tilt didn't we? Luckily I only invested the money I won on Sportsbets Super Saturday promotion.

I have access to David Bendeichs Punters Club reports and he is using Money Factory with it. Before Christmas he made his members $8,500 profit and after resuming in February has made about a thousand so far in what has been a losing period for his method. That's the beauty of Money Factory. It carries you over the rough spots. David's results are subject to the performance of Unitab's Ratings and like all ratings methods they are subject to losing runs.

Daylght saving has ended so we have six months os stable race times. Yippee!

Saturday 4th April: Boy I hate Microsoft with a passion. After going through a five minute identification process I get put on hold and then after a while I realise that they are no longer there. Back to the drawing board. I have one PC with Office which I have paid for but it's asking me to purchase it, and I have another laptop where I have a trial ending 31st May which now tells me I can't use it!

Winning is easier. Two from four selections yesterday at $3.50 and $4.70. That's good for Darwin. Our Daily Feature race won again too. Good luck today!

Friday 3rd April: Does anyone have GTX, Money Factory or Powerbet AND Vista? We are experiencing a clash whenever we have GTX System Developer and our programs open at the same time. We find the error occurs if we try to have two of our software programs open at the same time too. Love to hear from you if you have solved the problem.

We had another problem yesterday too. A distinct lack of winners and to top it off, we were heading, we thought, for the Quaddie, Trifecta and Double at Pinjarra, only to miss the last leg. But hey! The Footy's on tonight. It's the weekend and we reckon we found the winner of the BMW (not hard).

Today we have Racing at one of our favourite tracks and two of our worst performers. We have agreat article coming up for the Winter Magazine. It's called the Bridge or the Bar. The first person to correctly email me the 'code' i.e. what it alll means, wins a copy of 'Racing Pays More' or 'Market Forces' email here.

Thursday 2nd April: January the average Powerplay strategy dividend was $6.39 and in February $6.23. On level stakes, January lost 3.3% and February a profit of 6%. The main difference was the strike rate. In February and March we have been plagued by lower than average dividends but we have no control over this. We don't have any control when they are good either so let's hope that is soon.

Sydney is wet, Melbourne is dry but still the Victorian tracks are wet. Makes life difficult doesn't it? I'm on Bootsy's back to come up with some winning Selections today for the Weekend Sports which will be posted by 4 p.m. He will list the value bets but you have to get on quick because he is not the only one who spots these. If you can't get the recommended price then don't bet.

Wednesday 1st April: Four winners for Powerplay yesterday and I should have had more on the last winner. It looked a special. There were four Premium bets but only two qualified for a bet under David Bendeich’s rules. Both won. I cheated a bit and assumed that the Seymour track would be upgraded. That bet was only on for a good track but the upgrade didn’t come until two races later. The bet ran second. Stick strictly to the rules Garry!

March proved to be a difficult month and this Saturday is shaping up as being no easier with a slow to heavy track expected for the Slipper and BMW. Sportsbet is helping out with another Super Saturday promotion. I use these promotions all the time and earned an extra $150 the last time they ran this promotion. Sportsbet hope that you take the bait and bet in races they have nominated so only do this if you feel you have a good bet. This way you keep your edge. At Rosehill they are giving 10% rebate on losses for the day. If I do have a bet at Rosehill I will take that bait. The promotion is for Internet bets only.

Iasbet.com, Sportsbet’s biggest rival, offers rebates every day on one selected race. I always look at this race and take advantage if it is a good betting race. You can’t afford to pass up opportunities like these.

March was a losing month for the Powerplay singles with Powerbet losing $1400. On a level stakes basis the loss was $2113.80 which shows once again how the Powerbet software keeps you in the game when things aren’t going according to plan. For the record there were just over 500 bets but the average dividend was just $4.16, however the strike rate was a killer at just 20% which is well below average. March last year made a profit of 25% on turnover.

Tuesday 31st March: Fifty lucky Members have been recipients of our random prize draw and most of those have been in touch. Over the past few days we have had the opportunity to speak to many Members who we have not been in personal touch with for some time. Because the draw was random I have been surprised myself by some of the winners and have spoken to some members who attended my week long seminars. It has shown me how everybodys lives have been affected by the events, some good some bad, in the time in between.

A few have been affected by health problems, many by finanicial problems caused by huge drops in their Super and their income. A lucky few (they have worked hard to get there) have followed the principles they learned and have improved upon, the methods I taught and are now full time professionals as they have discovered that racing is more reliable than stockmarkets. Racing has fewer cheats than the world financial markets and is more predictable and downturns are measured in weeks and sometimes months but not years.

We had only three Powerplay Singles selections yesterday, no Best Bets and no Premiums. It is a selection drought. I personally, being devastated by Craig Boots poor showing with the Sports Bets, took Penrith in my Money Factory at a ridiculous +13.5 and didn't need it as they beat Manly by two. Just one more win outs my Money Factory back into profit yet again.

Monday 30th March: No Premium Selections yesterday and our final Weekend Sports bet lost giving us one from five, our worst result ever but that’s what happens early in the season. Over the weekend we had three Feature races for two wins.

Prue is off today so Susannah and I are very busy. We will send out our weekly email newsletter tomorrow.

Sunday 29th March: Our 4th Weekend Sports bet won easily. Our fifth, today, is probably the hardest. We had a busy day in the office Friday as many of the winners of our random prize draw called to organise their prize and several dropped into the office. A few already had a copy of the book and so have asked us to allocate their prize to other Members. That is very generous of them and we will do that and advise of the redraw with the next Newsletter in May. We expect all prize recipients will have their books by late next week or early the following.

It looks an even day today. I had an interesting call Friday. One of our Ratings subscribers advised me he bets full time but only works Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. That has been productive for him long term and added together there are plenty of races on those days.

Saturday 28th March: Im just watching our third weekend sportsbet in a row go down. That's almost a record. Grandslam did O.K. today though. I spent the afternoon with my son as he has returned from Adelaide. We had basically a few fun bets but quit when ahead. Then our next fews bets won at $30, $16 and $4 without our money but the steaks are on the barbie and tomorrow we head to Gosford for the Knights game which is paid for out of winnings.

Friday 27th March: We received the following negative email this morning. Please also see my reply. Please note there are no privacy concerns here as Andrew has indicated in his email that he wanted to let everybody know.

To whom it may concern, i have just received a letter announcing I had won a prize " The Best Australian Horse Racing Systems" only to read further on it was up to me to collect the book at my expense. This i just find shameful . Are you trying to promote your business or lose it? I have never heard of someone winning a prize but then having to pay to receive it. No doubt the book will be good reading but out of principal if you cannot spare the $10 to send it on then i suggest you try another willing  recipient to pay their hard earned out. I find this a very disappointing attitude and will ensure I pass my comments on to others should they be thinking of subscribing unless you reverse your rules. Regards, Andrew Lindfield

Hi Andrew, You were given (by us) a complimentary “temporary” membership of the Winform Racing Club thanks to XXXX who purchased a subscription to Horse Racing Australia magazine on your behalf. Please appreciate that the Winform Racing Club has been operating since 1986 and our paid Members participate in a free random draw for worthwhile prizes from time to time and these prizes have included Melbourne Cup entry, free entry to major race meetings, free books, free ratings and so on. In all those cases we didn’t drive our lucky Members to the races or to the Melbourne Cup, they had to get themselves there.

It has always been a condition of our prize draws that any extra expenses such as travel to venues, postage and the like were paid by the recipients. Remember that you paid nothing, not a cent and in any case you could drop into one of our offices to collect your prize and not pay a cent for postage as several have done already. Perhaps you would prefer that we only give prizes to people who live nearby?

There is absolutely no obligation on you to accept this gift and I am sure that one of our other Members will be more than happy to accept the book should you choose not to accept it.

Andrew, have you heard the expression “Don’t look a gift horse in the mouth?” Perhaps not.

Your attitude is entirely different to our other paid Members who have written and called and thanked us for their prizes but I guess everybody is different and yes you are right, we can’t afford to give valuable prizes away (prizes that hundreds of our Members have paid $149 for) and incur extra expense, although we can choose not to give prizes away at all as that would save us money.

I have learned in life Andrew, that no matter what we do there will always be someone out there who is unhappy. I guess you are one of those people who just have a mindset that everyone is trying to take advantage of you.

Luckily, while I was writing this email I just received a phone call from Patrick, one of our older Members who just wanted to thank me for his prize and “ I am happy with the books I have bought and you didn’t have to do that but thanks very much and I am looking forward to reading it.”

Regards,
Garry Robinson

Craig Boots was extremely upset with the Richmond Tigers last night and why wouldn’t he? Tipped at +6.5 they were backed in to +3 by kick off and had the first scoring shot but from there they fell off the rails as they forgot how to tackle how to kick how to take a mark. Craig says “don’t get carried away with Carlton’s 83 point win as it was done without opposition. Watch tonight’s Grand Final replay for a far better, more competitive game.”

Tabcorp shareholders have all been given discount cards for their casinos, restaurants and gift shops and hotel accommodation. No talk of discounts on your betting which would attract a lot more business. Given that they have spent a fortune sponsoring the Richmond Tigers with Luxbet their shares will probably fall today.

I lost a couple of hundred yesterday as our one Premium qualified bet ran second. I followed Craig into the Tigers but it was the first bet of a new Money Factory series so no harm done. My saving bet yesterday was Seeking Susan at Wyong which won at $6. It is a rare day at Wyong when we don’t get a decent priced winner.

Today we will watch the Albury meeting closely as our mate Glen Boss has elected to ride there. He has been engaged for Dabero’s Jag for a friend of ours ( Race 4) and should have better luck than last start on a damp track at the Valley where Boss rides later tonight. Boss also rides Bolle, our equal top rated chance in the Albury Cup.

Wednesday 25th March: A winning day for Powerplay singles on Tuesday but disappointment when our $28 chance was relegated to second. Trevor John’s plan from his book produced a $90+ winner and that plan, based on trainers and jockeys and to be fair, some commonsense logic, has had a big winning run so far this year.

There are six meetings today, three on Dead tracks. Devonport and Sale are both expecting more rain. We don’t know what will happen at Warwick Farm. Now here’s something. How come we get the exact track rating from Unitab but neither of Tabcorp’s sites provide this? Why did they bother to have a nationwide ratings system for Australia’s racetracks if the country’s biggest TAB operator couldn’t be bothered telling us?

There was just one Premium yesterday and it did nothing. We will have a maximum of three today. As Bill told me yesterday, “The number of selections each week suits him perfectly and the strike rate is high enough to make it worthwhile”.

Tuesday 24th March: Two out of three for the Premiums yesterday. our day was spoiled when the third of those selections buckjumped. It's becoming an epidemic.

Have you noticed the increase in the number of bet options for the Footy? Instead of the one $1.91 to $1.95 line there are several pricepoints with different margins plus line bets for the first half, second half and so on. With all the Sports Betting promotion we are going to see a massive increase in Sports Betting in Australia.

Monday 23rd March: Yes I've got in early. Seven wins from eight races at Cranbourne Sunday for Powerplay. Four Premium Bets for three wins and it had to happen after Saturday's poor result. I dropped $2k Sat but picked up $3.5k Sunday. The C Plan scored with the very first race. How good is that? One Best Bet for one winner. Yeah I know Powerplay Singles lost. It's turn will come again.

Sunday 22nd March: There's always some good news and bad news depending on your strategy on the day. Grandlslam had a winning day but Winform Gold had an uncharacteristic five from five loss. Both the Weekend Feature Race and Daily Feature race were successful, in fact the Daily Feature has won nearly every day.

Top Two was sensationally successful but Powerplay Singles took a hit even wiht a $11+ winner (deadheated at $22+).

The C Plan was right on cue and included a run of four winners and a run of five winners and 12 from 21 but the last five races were almost past my bedtime and they were losers.

The weekend sports bets had two from three to take us back to 50% so far. My Money Factory is in front. I dropped all of my all ups yesterday and Rod Cleary from Vicbet.com would be mad to cut my account as I had seven bets for seven losers yesterday.

The Winform favourite plan in my latest book: 'Race Winning Strategies' has scored 42% winners in the past twelve months. Seriously you can't lose by combining these with Money Factory can you? I am giving away one months Winform Ratings with each copy sold so you can see for yourself how good it is.

Sunday already. I better get those ratings and selections up.

Saturday 21st: I took two Ballina horses with a Ballarat winner yesterday. The two Ballina horses were treated as two $1 winners so I got all four multiples up and made enough money to cover my other multiples. Innocent Belle was a rank failure but many Members did not get this becuase the UNITAB Ratings (one of the check rules in 'Key to Winning Consistently Edition II') were not posted. They did out them up later but too late for most but it did save a losing bet.

Today is the day the Golden Slipper Festival really kicks in and Real Saga has to step up but will you bet at the short odds on offer? Best Fluctuation is probabaly the best option and you can get this with most operators by phone. Iasbet offer it on the Internet for as little as one dollar bets but remember to get on early.

We have a meeting with our building supervisor on Monday to try to resolve issues with Eden Brae Homes. Wish us luck. They play the game hard. We started our Eden Brae journey in August 2007 and may get into our new home in June or July if we are lucky.

Today I will try to win enough money to cover the cost of 'extras' which would be standard with most builders.

Friday 20th: Two qualifying Premiums yesterday for one win and one place. That's 50/100 and if we got that all year we'd be perfectly happy. Mackay was abandoned but not before we got one Powerplay Single up. The C Plan had just one from four while I was watching. I made a small profit yesterday.

We know Craig has it right this weekend as all the recommended bets have firmed in the market. We don't like to take $1.75 and $1.80 at the line but we don't want to give away more points either. Money Factory will allow you to make money betting both outcomes in each match for line betting and there are only a small number of bets to be placed each weekend.

Thursday 19th: A disappointing day yesterday with two of our singles running second at massive prices. The first got out to $31 fixed and missed by a half head. The next one at $50 best tote, although only $21 fixed price, also ran second. Our luck has to change. Only one Premium yesterday but it also failed the test and did not win. Those rules from David Bendeich are very effective.

I spent the afternoon at Newcastle races yesterday and there were signs of the recession with the majority of courtesy tents being unrented for the meeting. Plenty of bookmakers there though, nineteen, most complained that there weren’t enough punters although a crowd of 3,000 was reported. The feature race was a skinner for the bookies but if you take a line through the time of the race, the favourite actually ran similar time to when he won last start. I backed the winner and saved my stake on the favourite.

We are hoping for a better performance from Craig Boots for this weekends Footy. Check after lunch for the recommendations. He’s definitely off the Knights unless they make drastic changes.

Wednesday 18th: Only one Premium selection yesterday. It didn't pass the Key to Winning Consistently 2 rules so no bet. It lost. A very quiet day all round. I have taken a break today to set up yet another new computer. We seem to need a new one every six months or so as they slow down, wear out, burn out, whatever. And just when you get them going flawlessly, something else happens. I now have a lap top specifically for doing my Powerbet and Money Factory workouts. This means I can run my series wherever I happen to be as I usually spend three to four days a week in our main office or my home office.

Tuesday 17th March: Two Premium today. One place. I burnt myself with a big bet on a horse I thought was a special. There goes half my weekend profits. We all make mistakes and my horse ran second last but I suspect he was injured. Susannah has been off on compassionate leave for a week and we are very behind with the basics but we still get all orders out on the day we receive the order.

Tomorrow is Newcastle Cameron Handicap day and I will be there. Only a small field but star studded. We copped a second Powerbet loss yesterday so a loss of $900 for the month. Plenty of time for a comeback.

Monday 16th March: Ouch! My bloodtest today and I don't think they left any in. Yesterday the Premiums had one winner from two, that's six from the last ten. Don't tell me it's hard to win at Racing when you can get these.

The Powerplay Singles had a bad weekend and the profit for March has dropped to just $99 and we are behind on the current Powerbet bank. Audrey Rose looked a winner at $38 yesterday but was just collared by our second rated horse which was $20+. Good for the Powerplay basic strategy but bad for the Singles. Did you see what the Quinella paid?

Sunday 15th March: Yesterday was amazing. Powerplay Singles had a wild but terrifying ride as did the Premiums. I placed all my bets including the: 'Key to Winning Consistently Edition Two' qualified Premiums and then took off with my daughter Belle in our kayak to watch the yachting fleet go around. All well and good so far.

We were three kilometres out when we noticed a change in the weather, so we decided to head for home. By the time we got half way there a mighty storm hit with hail and ligtning 100k+ winds and two metre waves and blinding torrential rain. Visibility was negligible and then trouble really hit. A number of yachts turned away from the storm but got driven to leeward at incredible speed.

From out of the rain came a 50 footer just metres from our two metre kayak. To them we were invisible and their crew was simply doing their best to hang on to their boat. Their bow wave combined with the storm surge lifted us over the crest and swamped us. The next few minutes was indescribable as my daughter was screaming at the top of her lungs, I was trying to steer us safely through and at the same time watch for more yachts to windward. I still don't know where they were.

At one stage it looked as though we may have had to go with the wind and allow ourselves to be swept to the opposite end of the lake. Ten minutes later and the storm abruptly stopped, or more likely passed on beyond us and as the rain cleared we were just 500 metres from home. Then we noticed the destruction with trees knocked down, yachts disabled and scattered across a now placid lake.

Back on shore our yard is littered with branches from the nearest gum trees hundreds of metres away, fresh flowing rivers have appeared through our gardens and don't even ask where our washing has gone.

Back inside after a warm shower and change of clothes the next disaster appears. A mass run of outs for the Singles and Grandslam and a near miss at $20 which would have saved the day. Storms also arrive at Flemington and Randwick and then later in the evening during two NRL games but. All's well that ends well.

Premiums score five wins from the eights bets and two of my all up combinations have saluted for a $4.5k profit. I susoect though that our March profit on Powerbet is wiped out. I won't know until I run through the figures. It's on again today.

Saturday 14th March: Initially it was never intended that I would do the diary Saturday but it has become a habit. Both NRL games last night, as predicted, were traps and both games were won at the line by the outsider. I did notice that the Melbounre game was run a lot cleaner than the Brisbane game where many illegalities in the ruck were allowed. In Melbourne there was little latitude with every arm near a face drew a penalty, in the early stages at least.

Athleticism and skill are being rewarded, forget about forward contests as the extra policing around the ruck is getting rid of those niggles and the game is a lot faster.

They're racing today. Really? I can see we will have many Premium opportunities today so with a bit of luck it could be a good winning day.

Our first serious Sports bet is on tonight.

Friday 13th March: Another good day for Powerplay Singles with the March Powerbet series reaching $1099 profit for a $10 base bet. The Weekend Footy Bets are up now and we expect another great season with many succesful doubles and trebles.

The Premiums both lost yesterday but there are two more today out of the three that qualify using 'Key to Winning Consistently Edition Two'. We had a Member in yesterday who is maing $1,000 to $1,500 a week off these and can't understand why everybody is not doing it but to be fair, Terry started with a relatively small bet and built these up as he grew in confidence. When you have a strike rate of between 45%-55% wins and 88% places it is not hard to be confident. Unfortunately erry has had to switch to IASbet.com as his current betting agency has warned him off.

His mistake, and one which should not be repeated, is to have all his bets at one agency. What he should have done is spread the money over three of four agencies. That way he would not be on anybody's radar. This is why we do business with many corporates so we always have avenues available to place our bets.

Sportsbet have Super Saturday on tomorow and we always take advantage of these. If you have a Sportsbet Account you just have to remember to bet between 1 and 2 tomorrow. If you don't open an account today and get double the opening bonus.

Thursday 12th March: My son Mathew headed off to Adelaide and a new job at short notice yesterday so I and his Mum left the office for Sydney to pick up his dog who is now our house guest for 3 months? 6 months? however long the job lasts. Anyhow, after four hours there and back I decided to check how the Powerplay and Premiums had gone for the day. I had outlaid just $400 on a trixie with one the last Powerpay Single and the two 'Key to Winning Consistently Edition II' Premiums.

I opened my IASbet.com Account and at first I thought there had been a mistake. No mistake. All three selections had won for a return of $9171.

In addition I went to our staff Punters Club where we bet the Powerplay Singles and found an extra $1,000 profit for the day and half of that was with free bets. At a guess, with the C Plan and everything else we reckon our clinets had a great day.

Wednesday 11th March: (Later on Wednesday arvo) Four winners out of four for the C Plan so far today. That’ll do won’t it? A $14 winner for the Powerplay Singles to start the day too. Up $750 for the month so far using Powerbet. Your Racing luck can turn so quickly. Craig Boots' NRL Tips are now available online to Winform Sports Subscribers.

(Wednesday morning) A good result yesterday. Two Premium Selections two winners. A $10 Powerplay Single always helps make a good day. Darren Hall really enjoys how we always seem to snap a losing run by finding a double figure winner in WA.

The past couple of days I have spent most of my time talking to clients and I realise even more than I did, how many of them rely on the Winform Ratings for their living. Some of the clients are a bit paranoid about: "What happens to the Ratings if you, retire, get run over by a bus, have a heart attack etc." Fortunately, some years ago I had a very competent programmer, provide all of my Ratings Formulas and par times for every Australian racecourse, into the GTX Software Program which is produced and maintained by The Rating Bureau. If anything did happen to me, the program just goes on, my business continues to load up the ratings every day for as long as clients reuire them. We chose TRB as our Software Supplier because they have been in this business since the sixties and they have, over the years, introduced new partners so there is always a succession plan. They get their racing info from the racing industry and that won't stop either.

Over time, new race courses evolve and after hundreds of races are run, we are able to add new par times as we have with Geelong Thorough Track, Canberra Acton and Sunshine Cushion. We haven't been able to make Sunshine work yet but the oither two seem O.K. now.

Tuesday 10th March: I'm back, and thanks to John for the lfit to the airport. I was able to demonstrate GTX to some clients yesterday and although it is an easy program to use once you know what to do it can be daunting for a first time user. Grafton used to be a Powerplay venue but aftyer a poor performance the last twelve months we dropped it. John reckoned we dropped it too early and so yesterday he was on the $20+ winner and we weren't. He has his GTX front page set up to show him the form factors he considers important and that has been vital to his success.

February was a losing month for Powerplay Singles using the Powerbet Strategy but is still $1100+ in profit for the year to date and this month, even with just 10% winners on Sunday, is $547 in profit. The current series recovered well with a late winner Sunday at $8.30 and two early winners yesterday at $4.00 and $3.40.

In 2007 there was a severe losing period for three months but only $3000 was lost in that time and had you started in January you were actually never behind at all. The $3,000 came out of accumulated profits.

The Powerbet philiosophy is to devide your Bank into ten but to never risk more then 10% at any time. In this way you might lose two or three of these portions from time to time but that is just 20%-30% of yoru Bank. The loss of $3,000 referred to above represents just 30% of the $10,000 Bank we do our workouts with.

Monday 9th March: Garry is away today, doing business in Melbourne. Yesterday posted some pretty average results, but hopefully with a busy day of racing today (Grafton, Ipswich, Morphettville, Moonee Valley & Warwick Farm) we'll have more success.

Sunday 8th March:
Two of the three qualifying Premium bets won. The dividends? $3.40 and $5. A $100 bet pays for a three months Premium Subscription. We got winners overall yesterday but we are still missing those vital longshots. Niconero was one of our three picks in our Weekend Feature Race and paid $14.40. They also ran the Quinella.

The Top Two only picked up 25% winners yesterday but there were some good priced winners. A reminder that although the ratings for Sunshine Coast Cushion track come up we are not betting there unless we have a special. So far the only one of these tracks where we have been successful is the Geelong Thorough track. If Racing ever becomes predominantly artificial I will retire from punting.

Saturday 7th March: Some days you can do no wrong. Today is one of those days as I have combined the Premium Selections all ways. So far there are three doubles in that combination and I am about $2,000 in front with the third leg of my treble Echucha race 7 6 Akermagic. If that wins the sheckles really add up but either way I can't lose.

Sarah called me the other day and there is no other method I can recommend more highly than using the Premium Selections with the 'Key to Winning Consistently Edition Two' Rules. It is simply magic.

Friday 6th March: Another brilliant day yesterday for the Powerplay Singles and the Premium Selections. I made $1800+ even though I felt that the Winform Gold Selection was at a slight disadvantage. In the end Boy John won and the danger horse second.

I have similar feelings about today. Our first Premium has an X against it's form but as this is not 90 days then we have used a different rule from 'The Key to Winning Consistently Edition Two' to qualify it but my gut feel is that the distance is too short for it. We'll know by a few minutes after 1.

Thursday 5th March: You can't beat a 50% strike rate, especially when there are nine good winners. The best was $5.50 and I was once again succesful with a Patent bet, although the Premium Selections which won were at quite short prices. Plus $1250 is still acceptable.

It's a pity that NSW TAB can't get it right when there are less than five starters. For Sandown race one, three selections were showing money back and the other runner $3.70. It must have been some sort of signal though because the $3.70 runner did manage to win.

Wednesday 4th March: What can we say? Powerplay Singles came back with a vengeance yesterday with ten bets for five wins and eight placings. Needless to say yours truly took one winner with a loser and a place in my all up. Altogether 13 units profit. Today we see Racing on some of our most favoured tracks so perhaps there will be more. The swings we get are massive but that is merely a test of the mettle of your psyche.

Our computer doctor comes tomorrow so perhaps we will avoid any of those glitches like last Sunday. Thanks for all those Members who came up with suggestions but honestly, you kill one Bill Gates and another one springs up to take his place, and if we wait until all the bugs are ironed out we could all be dead and buried.

Some big names have left the Autumn Racing Carnival but you know there will be more. Our job is to find the Best Bets we can in the field as it lines up. It has been a successful formula in the past and will continue to be.

Grandslam has come out with all guns firing this year and is already 18 units in front for the year. Our aim is 50 units a year profit so we are well on our way. 2006 was +23, 2007 +87 and 2008 +40.

We received notification yesterday that two more of our clients have been banned by bookmakers because they were too smart. One of those clients bets mainly our Best Bets and another bets Powerplay. They rarely ever have losing months.

Tuesday 3rd March: Bugga, the girls have had me stuffing my face and I am becoming an instant chocaholic. I have finalised our Powerplay singles from February and we dropped the lot three times for a loss of $2034. That compares to a profit in December and a profit of $3000+ in january.

Strile rate was O.K. at 23% but the averge dividend of just $3.85 cruelled us. It is one of the lowest average months since mid 2007. There have been at least a dozen longshots running places in the last few days and just one win or two would have turned us a profit for the month. Garry.

Today is a special day here in the Winform office. Garry 'The Boss Man' Robinson is celebrating his birthday! We will break his good eating habits today by indulging in 'party' food.

Yesterday our Winform Gold selection was a success with the majority of our remaining selections scoring a place. Today Kyneton has been abandoned, leaving Randwick Inner, Rockhampton and Port Lincoln.

The latest edition of Horse Racing Australia Magazine should be at your local Newsagent now but if it isn't we can organise a download or we can mail you one.

Monday 2nd March: 39% Top Two yesterday including Taos Lightning $22+, Thumb Prints $71, Honour Roll $11.60. Powerplay Singles missed another longshot in a close photo and we admit to a losing February. It is a funny month with a mix of Summer horses at the end of their campaign and Autumn horses at the start of theirs. March was brilliant last year and I hope we repeat.

The season proper kicks off in a couple of weeks and we have our weekend sports tips starting up again in earnest.

We have maintained a consistent 60%+ strike rate in both NRL and AFL at $2 or better and there is no reason for us not to reeat this year. Cost is minimal.

****Apologies for ratings format. Vista has beaten me for today. It won't allow me to edit****

Sunday 1st March: Two buck jumping performances by 2yos in Sydney and Melbourne cost punters big time. Essaouira cost me a parlay. I wasn't happy, especially at the odds of $1.50. I searched the next few races and came up with two Grandslams and a Winform Single and took a patent for $100 . These horses won at $3, $4 and $7+ and returned me just over $19,000. Brett Craig is right. In his article in the Autumn Magazine he suggests that this type of bet is your best chance of making a profit but you have to be patient.

My computer has fiinally karked it and I am working today on a laptop with Vista. It is slower. I hope it hasn't affected my selections today.

Grandslam won, Winform Singles found winners, as did Powerplay Singles. Just not enough, and it hurts when you run second at $38. Patience is required

Saturday 28th February: The last day of Summer but the Autumn Carnival is well underway. Yes disappointing results yesterday but such is life. Two wins and a second from the three Premium selections that qualified with Key To Winning Consistently Two and that continues on relentlessly with more profit. Two short prices, agreed but they can't do more than win.

A new era for me with my first venture into Vista. It is giving us hell. I don't know how the ordinary person copes with it. LIFE SHOULD BE SIMPLER. Don't they know how many brain cells we are all losing as we get older? Good luck today.

Friday 27th February: Townsville was abandoned yesterday which didn't leave us with many selections. Of the two selections we had both placed 2nd. Today looks like it will be more successful. Our Newsletter is up online for our members and will reach mail box's early next week. Don't forget our Autumn edition of Horse Racing Australia Magazine is in Newsagencies today. Thursday 26th February: A nice double figure Top Rated winner yesterday amongst the top rated was about the only good news. An unexpected track upgrade at Launceston made all the difference as Century Twentyone was the top pick on a dead track and Zavite on a good one. This pair fought it out but I expected the track to remain dead. The time run was not bad for the strathayr surface.

A trifecta strategy that continues to work is simply boxing the top three Winform ratings in every race. There has been a huge run of these lately but the overall strike rate of 3% means long runs of outs even though at the end of every year there is a profit.

The Powerplay Singles are due for a turnaround. Maybe today.

And here's reason 999 for not winning. Yesterday I took multiple bets involving Bunbury horses. In a multiple scratchings returna $1 dividend, not a refund on your combination so a treble involving three horses with two scratchings and a loser is a losing bet,a double involving a scratching and a loser is a losing bet even though you never had a chance of winning as it basically has reverted to a win bet on just the starter. It might be "fair" for a scratching at the barrier but when a whole meeting does not go ahead, that is another case entirely.

Wednesday 25th February: We'll continue to watch the Iasbet saga with interest. Yesterday was not a great day. Yes there were winners in the Top Two as usual but onl;y one winner from about nine Powerplay singles and our one Premium bet failed.

Today is Launceston Cup day and we reckon the winner is in our top two or three. It is now a fabulous track but we'll reserve our judgement on whether it is a good track to bet on until we have seen a few hundred races run there.

Tuesday 24th February: LATE NEWS - Our Stockbroker has just informed us that Sportsbet.com, Australia's fourth or fifth biggest corporate bookmaker now owns 10% of IASbet.com. We have good relationships with both organisations and will continue to work with them no matter what happens. One thing is for certain... the takeover of Centrebet seems doomed.

Yesterday was almost like a day off with only one Powerplay Single (it lost) so it was simply place and forget. Betting markets are hard to come by on Mondays so the C Plan didn't offer any action either. I did have a day off and I actually watched the Oscars. Hugh Jackman is impressive. If we could be as good at punting as he is in acting, singing and dancing we would never have to worry where our next dollar was coming from and that is our aim.

He didn't get there without lost of hard work and we didn't either. At least we can do the hard work of ratings and selecting for you but there is still work to do and that is in the staking.

Bob Byrne sent us a copy of an email he sent to David Bendeich. Bob has been subscribing to the Premium Selections and on my advice he purchased one of the remaining copies of Bendeich's book so he could apply the eliminations suggested there. It does take a few minutes to apply the rules but it is worth it. Here's an extract from Bob's email.

Hi David, I just wanted to email you to say I have been following your systems for two weeks now and you are a bloody genius! For the first time since I have been punting on the horses I am actually making money. Now I know that it's still early days but I am over the moon with the results.

II purchased your first book a couple of years ago but because of the small number of bets did not really follow the systems.

I was talking to Garry about a month ago and he asked me how I was going with my punting and I told him I was using the Premium selections with Money Factory and it was having its ups and downs. That's when he said 'You really should put the Premiums through David's new book." So I ordered the book right there and then and I have to say it has been the best thing I've ever done.

I am one happy customer and I'm sending a copy of this to Garry too. Thanks for the book...it's worth it's weight in Gold!
Cheers, Bob Byrne

Monday 23rd February: I closed off the staff punters club's Powerbet yesterday after sixteen completed series in a row since last Saturday. I reckoned to continue was tempting fate and to be honest I had to go out for the afternoon. For the weekend Powerplay Singles just stopped short of coming square even though we had excellent strike rates since Friday.

Running Powerbet or Money Factory or any other plan requires your full attention. I noticed on Saturday when I was placing bets that the fixed odds seemed to change just as soon as they looked so attractive that I had to take them. Everyone else must have agreed. On the other hand, when I was unsuccessful getting a price I found that in the end the Tote dividend ended up better. Murphy's law?

'Kaapstad Lad' was our recommended each way bet in the Daily Feature race yesterday. It ran second paying around $8 the place. The winner was rated fourth but paid less than $3 for the win.

Winform Gold had one bet for one winner and Best Bet 'Larrys Boy' was extremely unlucky finishing third.

Sunday 22nd February: Grandslam had a winning day with 'Symphony Miss' storming home in the last at Caulfield. Powerplay Singles had 25% winners for the week and a + $600 result for $10 base bets for the week. It should have been more but there were some very small dividends mid week.

The Top Two was in great form yesterday with many long shot winners including top rated 'Swiss Ace' at $37. In my e-news last thursday I pointed out the barrier factor at Caulfield which favoured horses drawn wide over sprints. Three of the four outside barriers filled the placings at $7,000+ in the Oakleigh Plate Trifecta. This and other anomalies are revealed in 'The Barrier Book'.

Winform Gold let me down yesterday with just one winner from three, although that does make three from four if you include yesterday.

Saturday 21st February: All races at Sunshine Coast are now on the artificial Track Race 2 is now 1100 metres. I expect a switch tomorrow too. I cleaned up with $3000 profit when the three Winform Gold horses saluted. Three out of three is not bad. The Powerplay Singles group had seven winners from 19 yesterday and strike rate including last Saturday is 32% but the best winner was only $7.40 and that is holding us back. February is not the best month with large numbers of horses coming back into Racing.

We only need a few decent winners to make a Powerplay Singles profit for the month to make fifteen winning months in a row. Don't forget that from today we are including the systems selections into the group as overall it is silly to knock back the profit and the new Powerbet strategy covers it nicely.
